The Janice Mason Art Museum is the recent recipient of a Community Development Block Grant that will help to make some improvements to the building that was constructed in the 1940s.
Paul Fourshee, a representative of the museum, tells the News Edge the $340,000 grant will help with accessibility issues.
Fourshee adds the process to design it will begin immediately.
He notes they do not anticipate any closures during the renovation work.
Community members can support the Janice Mason Art Museum throughout the year. The museum is located in downtown Cadiz and is hosting the annual Festival of Trees exhibit through Christmas.
