A Crittenden County man has been arrested in connection to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 91 North between Princeton and Fredonia Monday afternoon.
Caldwell County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Chris Noel says that a deputy was dispatched to Highway 91 North/Marion Road, near the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road, in reference to a single-vehicle rollover collision with possible injuries just after four. He adds that upon arriving at the scene and conducting a further investigation the deputy aided in transporting 35-year-old Cody James of Marion to Caldwell Medical Center for treatment.
Chief Deputy Noel reports that upon arrival at the hospital James refused treatment but gave consent for a legal blood draw.
James was then arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
As the NewsEdge previously reported, the accident caused the roadway to be blocked to traffic for about thirty minutes, with traffic restricted to one lane for an additional hour, as crews worked to clear the crash site.
