An Evansville, Indiana based tire store with three regional locations was recently acquired by Goodyear.
Media reports indicate Raben Tire Company, ranked among the 50 largest commercial and retail dealerships and retreaders in the country, announced last week it was purchased by the tire maker. Raben Tire generates roughly more than $150 million annually and was founded in 1952 by Henry Raben.
Raben Tire Company operates over 30 commercial and consumer tire and service locations, including locations in Hopkinsville, Clarksville, TN, and Greenville.
Before the sale, Raben was owned by affiliates of Palladium Equity Partners L.L.C., a middle-market private equity firm, since 2014.
