A Hopkinsville woman was injured in a wreck on West 7th Street near the intersection of South McPherson Avenue Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 50-year-old Melody Shilling was eastbound when her car ran off the road hitting a utility pole, a street sign then a tree.
The crash caused the utility pole to break in half. Shilling was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
