A Hopkinsville man and woman are charged with theft after they reportedly took a truck to paint it and didn’t return it Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 22-year-old Bobby Mart Jr. and 34-year-old Krystal Medina convinced a man to give them the keys to his truck and they would paint the truck at their shop.
The couple reportedly used the truck for transportation and broke the ignition along with removing tools from the toolbox.
They allegedly told the victim their father was sick and the truck was primed but had not been painted.
Police say no work had been done to the truck and they were both charged with theft of a vehicle and theft of contents from a vehicle.
