An Illinois resident was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 two miles west of exit 73 Sunday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Sam Suiter said a car driven by 24-year-old Ruth Schuiling of Illinois was westbound when she lost control on the wet roadway causing the car to run off the road and into a ditch.
A passenger in the car 25-year-old Zachariah Teberi was taken to Trigg County hospital by ambulance for back pain.
