Congressman James Comer announced Tuesday the nomination of four Christian County students to United States Service Academies.
According to the Comer’s office, Denarius Barnes and Javier Bland, both of Oak Grove and students of Hopkinsville High School, received nominations to the United States Military Academy.
Also, John Cogbill Jr., of Fort Campbell and attends Fort Campbell High School was nominated to the United States Military Academy, Naval Academy, and the Air Force Academy.
University Heights Academy student Lilyan Hendricks, of Hopkinsville, received nominations to the United States Military Academy and the Air Force Academy.
Comer says it is his honor to nominate the four students to academy posts and their hard work in the Christian County community makes them strong and qualified candidates for them. He also wished them the very best in the years ahead.
