A Hopkinsville man was charged Tuesday afternoon with wanton endangerment after his gun discharged hitting him and a child’s bed.
Hopkinsville Police say on November 1st 27-year-old Devonte George was handling his rifle in a manner that caused it to discharge twice hitting him in the thigh along with going through the floor, into another apartment and striking the bed of a child that was sleeping.
He is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
