The traffic accident that occurred two days before Christmas on Kentucky 91, the Princeton Road, has claimed one life.
According to a social media post from Sinking Fork Elementary School, staff and students are mourning the loss of Alexia Trump, who suffered critical injuries in the wreck. Trump, who was a sixth-grader at Sinking Fork, will be remembered with a memorial service that is being planned by her family.

Christian County Deputy Sheriff Jason Newby told the News Edge the crash occurred Monday, December 23, in the afternoon hours when a car driven by 35-year-old Robert Jackson crossed the center line and hit a truck driven by 32-year-old Misty Quarles of Cerulean.
Newby said the crash caused the truck to come to rest in a creek bed.
Three people were extricated from the vehicles, with 34-year-old Marcus Quarles and a juvenile taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Meanwhile, the drivers of both vehicles and a second juvenile were flown to Nashville hospitals.
