A Trigg County organization was honored Monday morning with the unveiling of two new signs showcasing a portion of a state highway was dedicated to them.
Genesis Express President George Radford says when they learned a portion of Highway 139 North was being dedicated to the organization, they were floored.
Cadiz Mayor Todd King adds he can not thank Genesis Express enough for the services they provide for Trigg County residents.
Magistrate Mike Wright notes Genesis Express was formed over thirty years ago and commended the men for their tremendous work.
8th District State Representative Walker Thomas says the dedication has been long overdue.
During his remarks, Thomas asked for a moment of silence to remember the two young men whose lives were taken Sunday night in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 139 and U.S. 68/KY 80.
