Governor Andy Beshear made numerous appointments to boards and commissions Friday, including at least four from western Kentucky.
Judith Rhoads, of Madisonville who is a retired educator and Brian Clardy, of Murray, an associate professor of history at Murray State University were appointed to the Kentucky Humanities Council. Both replace people whose terms expired and will serve until January 1, 2024.
Additionally, Tommy Chandler of Providence, a retired attorney and judge was appointed to serve on the Personnel Board and serve a term until January 1, 2024.
Angie Lampe, of Murray, will serve on the Historic Properties Advisory Commission through August 11, 2023. Lampe is the associate director of facilities design at Murray State University.
