The University of Kentucky is continuing to enrich the community around them through philanthropic efforts in and out of the classroom.
Vice President of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement Mike Richey says the university is moving toward philanthropy from fundraising.
He says UK is working to improve its efforts for cancer research.
Richey highlights their increase in scholarships available to students who may be struggling financially.
He adds their campus is continuing to grow as they invest further in their student body.
Richey was the featured speaker of Tuesday’s Hopkinsville Rotary meeting.
