A Princeton woman who was injured in a single-vehicle accident during a bout of winter weather last week is now facing charges.
Princeton Police Chief Chris King reports that officers responded to a single-vehicle collision in the 1400 block of Hopkinsville Street just after 6:30 Friday morning. He adds that investigation revealed that 19-year-old Madysen N. Gresham was southbound on Hopkinsville Street in a 2007 Chevrolet Impala when she lost control in a curve, left the roadway, and struck several trees.
Gresham was transported by Caldwell County EMS to the Caldwell Medical Center ER for minor injuries.
Chief King notes that Gresham was then charged with her first DUI offense and having no insurance and was cited to appear in court.
