Man Charged After Running From Police In Hopkinsville

A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly fled from police as they attempted to arrest him on an active warrant Monday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were attempting to arrest 43-year-old Ronald Bradford on Brown Street when he was seen crawling on the ground behind a home.

Bradford reportedly got up and fled jumping a fence and hiding behind an air conditioning unit before being arrested.

Bradford was being arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property after he allegedly sold a stolen transporter platform hoist to someone in December.

The item was found to be stolen when the person Bradford sold it to tried to pawn it.

Bradford is charged with receiving stolen property and second-degree fleeing or evading police.
