The Todd County Board of Education has appointed an acting superintendent after Ed Oyler resigned on February 10.
School officials say the board appointed Assistant Superintendent Camille Dillingham at a special called meeting Tuesday. Dillingham has been overseeing day-to-day operations as the assistant superintendent since Oyler left.
According to officials, Dillingham has held numerous capacities in the Todd County School District over 26-years including as a teacher, elementary principal, preschool coordinator, curriculum instruction director, personnel director, and director of assessment.
Board member Andrea Jones stated at the meeting the Todd County Board of Education chose to use the Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA) to assist in the search for a new superintendent.
