A pedestrian was hit and killed on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville Sunday night.
Police report 39-year old Torrie Roach was crossing the boulevard near Quin Lane shortly after 7:00 when she was hit by a northbound Jeep Cherokee driven by a 47-year old male. Police say the driver didn’t see Roach, who was wearing dark clothing in the dimly lit area.
Roach was taken to Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville and was pronounced deceased.
Police indicate no charges have been filed and the investigation continues.
According to police, this is the second pedestrian fatality in Clarksville this year.
