Christian County Sheriff Tyler DeArmond will be mailing out letters asking residents and business owners to make a donation to send children to the Kentucky Sheriff’s Ranch.
Public Information Officer Chris Miller says Sheriff Tyler DeArmond is sending out the letters seeking new members to make a $25 donation to help to provide services, supplies, and staff for the Boys and Girls Ranch located in Gilbertsville. He says the program provides opportunities for kids from across the state, including in Christian County, a positive and uplifting experience at the summer camp.
New members who make a donation will receive a membership card, bumper sticker, and a subscription to their annual twice-yearly newsletter, “The Kentucky Sheriff”.
Miller notes the $25 donation to the Boys and Girls Ranch is tax deductible.
