The Edge Media Group is proud to announce the launch of a new statewide agriculture network that will help tell the story of Kentucky’s most critical industry.
News and Ag Director Alan Watts says the idea for beginning the network came from fellow broadcaster Max Armstrong.
Watts notes the network comes after the announcement he would no longer be hosting Across Kentucky.
The Your Ag Edge network officially launches Monday, March 16 and will kick off with a new radio program.
Edge Media Group President Beth Mann shared a letter received from Armstrong that best summed up her feelings about Watts and the launch of Your Ag Edge.
Mann adds Travelin’ the Bluegrass will focus on the great Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Travelin’ the Bluegrass will air each weekday and already has 20 affiliates across the state that are committed to playing the segments. The theme music for the new radio program was created by the local bluegrass group The Ridgerunners.
A new Facebook page for Travelin’ the Bluegrass launched Thursday morning and YourAgEdge.com will go live in the near future.
