The Hopkinsville-Christian County Family YMCA has some upcoming fundraisers to help with their annual campaign, with the money to benefit programs that continue to help the community.
Membership and Marketing Director Jason Strickland tells the News Edge they will be hosting their annual Day of Giving campaign Tuesday.
On that day, WKDZ’s Bill Booth will take his Live Afternoon Drive show to the YMCA to encourage everyone to donate.
Strickland notes the annual campaign benefits so many people.
In addition, the Shamrock Shuffle will occur on Saturday, March 21 and will help the Rock Steady Boxing program.
In upcoming programs, Strickland adds they will be hosting events during the week of spring break to keep children entertained.
Strickland adds they are hiring for summertime positions available at Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center. He urges any teens looking for summer employment to apply, as soon as possible.
