Deputies have released more information about a high-speed pursuit in Christian County Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy spokesman Chris Miller told the News Edge at the scene a deputy attempted to stop 22-year-old Keyvonte Pettus for speeding and he fled for several miles before he wrecked attempting to exit the parkway.
Pettus and his passengers 22-year-old Leonard Scott III, 18-year-old Arwan Arwan, and 18-year-old Renee Carnes all of Louisville were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.
Pettus, Arwan, and Carnes were transported to the Christian County Jail after being treated and released from the hospital. Scott was cited to court and is being transferred to another hospital.
The car they were in was reportedly stolen in Louisville and they were all charged with receiving stolen property. Pettus was also charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, speeding, reckless driving, and first-degree fleeing or evading police.
