Schools in the Christian County Public School District will be closing for nearly a month after Governor Andy Beshear on Thursday recommended schools across the state close for at least two weeks.
District spokesman John Rittenhouse says schools will close beginning Monday.
He adds they will be still be serving meals for students.
While students are out of school, he says the maintenance and janitorial staff will continue to disinfect and clean the schools.
