The Way Christian Youth Center is excited as they head into their 10th year of ministry in Trigg County and they plan to celebrate with an open house Sunday afternoon.
Founder Carl Heckman tells the News Edge the open house will take place from 1:00 to 3:00.
Heckman adds the new building behind Trigg County Public Schools has changed their ministry tremendously.
He notes they are always in need of prayer, volunteers, and bottled water.
In order to become a volunteer, you must pass a nationwide background check and be a member of a local church.
Volunteers are able to help with a wide array of activities.
