APSU officials announced Tuesday afternoon this spring’s commencement ceremony on May 8 and May 9 will be delayed because of concerns over COVID-19.
APSU President Alisa White says they will continue to monitor the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and attempt to identify a later date for spring commencement based upon updated guidance from the CDC.
If the University is able to identify an alternative date for spring commencement, graduates can either participate in that ceremony, the August or December ceremonies. Information, including any updates about a rescheduled spring commencement, will be posted to the commencement website.
