Kentucky State Police say they attempted to stop a car for speeding on Pennyrile Parkway when the driver 21-year-old Antranice Phillips of Clarksville fled southbound getting onto Interstate 24 and exiting onto Pembroke Oak Grove Road.
Phillips attempted to go around a truck that was turning into the Pilot on Pembroke Oak Grove Road and hit the truck on the driver’s side.
The car came to a stop in a field. Phillips was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, speeding, failure to use child restraint device in a vehicle, and several traffic violations
No one was taken to the hospital for any injuries. Police say a 4-year-old child who was not properly restrained was inside the vehicle during the pursuit.
