A Hopkinsville man was charged with assault after pulling a woman from a car during a fight on Linda Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 19-year-old Alex Deason pulled a woman out of a car by her neck during a fight and held her to the ground causing injuries to her knees, feet, and elbow.
The woman was treated at the scene by emergency personnel for minor injuries. Deason was arrested and charged with first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
