John L. Street Library Closing To Public Thursday

Due to public health concerns regarding COVID-19, the John L. Street Library Board has announced the library will be closed to the public beginning Thursday.

In addition, the Library Board says programming will be suspended until further notice.

They add patrons are welcome to utilize the library’s catalog online by clicking here, and you can call (270) 522-6301 to place materials on hold, and pick up your materials. The Board asks that you call while you are in the parking lot and a staff member will put your materials in the vestibule.

Copies and faxes can also be placed in the book drop.

During the closure, the meeting rooms will also be unavailable for meetings.

The John L. Street Library will accept returns in the book drop, and no late fees will apply if you cannot return them.

For any further updates, go to the library’s Facebook page or website.
