Hopkinsville Woman Charged With Fleeing From Police

A Hopkinsville woman was charged with fleeing from police after a fight with her girlfriend on East 21st Street Thursday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to James Village Apartments after 20-year-old Wylil Alexander and her girlfriend got into a fight and Alexander took her phone as she was calling for police.

Alexander reportedly fled the area before police arrived and was located around Taco Bell and ran from police and resisted arrest.

She was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, and intimidating a participant in a legal process.
