More Than 1,000 Students Receiving Trigg Schools Meal

The Trigg County School District is feeding more than 1,000 students each day through the meal delivery program that began Monday following the closure of schools for at least two weeks.
Schools Food Service Director Paula Dickerson says her staff has been busy preparing the meals this week.

She adds students who normally receive meals through the backpack program will receive their meals Friday.

The student meal delivery program is facilitated through the food services department, with bus drivers and a helper delivering the meals to the ten pick-up points in the county. Students can also stop by the drive-up at the Trigg County School Cafeteria between 11:30 and 12:30 or call the transportation department to request a meal delivery.
