Officials with Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area say in-person operations are limited but they are implementing virtual services during the COVID 19 outbreak in accordance with guidance from federal and state authorities.
Area Supervisor Tina Tilley says as they work through an unpredictable and rapidly changing situation, health and safety is their number one priority. She says they are committed to continuing to support area communities and fulfill their mission as they all work together to minimize the impacts and spread of COVID-19.
LBL officials say the actions have been taken based on the best available medical advice to limit gatherings of large numbers of people and to promote social distancing.
