A Hopkinsville man and woman were found sleeping in a vehicle after they reportedly took drugs Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 35-year-old Gilbert Brown and 20-year-old Destiny Camplin were hard to wake up and told police they had taken Xanax and drank alcohol.
They reportedly could not tell police when they arrived at Walmart and Brown kept falling asleep in the middle of talking.
Inside the vehicle police allegedly found pills in the center console that Brown and Camplin claimed to be Xanax.
They are both charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance. Brown was also charged with DUI fourth or more offenses and driving on a DUI suspended license.
