A Hopkinsville man was charged with robbery after he assaulted his girlfriend and took her medication on Cooperfield Avenue Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 49-year-old Darrell Reese choked his girlfriend and took her phone as she called for police. Reese fled the home after taking her medication and was located just up the road with her pill bottle.
He is charged with second-degree robbery, intimidating a participant in a legal process, and tampering with physical evidence. Reese was also found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Georgia.
