There are now two confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) reported in Stewart County, Tennessee.
No other details about the cases were provided from Stewart County Emergency Management.
Officials announced the first case Friday morning and said the health department and local doctor’s offices would continue to test people who have symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). If you feel sick, officials ask you to call the doctor’s office prior to arriving at the testing area.
In addition, they remind citizens to continue to practice social distancing and good hygiene habits.
The executive order signed by Stewart County Mayor Robin Brandon is still in place suggesting residents stay at home unless conducting essential business.
