A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly used a brick as a weapon in a robbery Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old James Chambers demanded money from another man while holding a brick at the intersection of East 10th Street and North Clay Street.
When the man didn’t give Chambers any money he reportedly punched the man in the arm and threw the brick at his car.
Police located Chambers on East 4th Street and he allegedly attempted to pull away from police and tossed a coupon on the ground claiming it to be his identification while holding a marijuana blunt.
He is charged with first-degree robbery, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, public intoxication, and second-degree criminal mischief.
