Caldwell County has reported two more coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.
Judge/Executive Larry Curling announced Friday that the Pennyrile District Health Department has confirmed the county now has eight cases. He added that the cases include a 60-year-old male, who is currently hospitalized, and a 40-year-old male, who is in self-quarantine at home.
Judge Curling noted that the Health Department is currently conducting a contact investigation and will notify anyone who is suspected to have come into contact with the positive individuals.
Judge Curling is continuing to offer his hopes and prayers for a speedy recovery for all of Caldwell’s cases and is stressing that community members adhere to social distancing guidelines and stay healthy at home.
