A large amount of copper was reportedly taken from a construction site on Fort Campbell Boulevard near Interstate 24 Monday night into Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say several copper fittings for plumbing valued at $2,500 were taken from the construction site.
The report lists the charge as theft by unlawful taking. No arrest has been made
