Caldwell County Reports Tenth Case Of COVID-19

Caldwell County has announced its tenth coronavirus (COVID-19) case.

Judge/Executive Larry Curling stated Thursday evening that the Pennyrile District Health Department has reported the new confirmed case is a 64-year-old female who is self-quarantined at home. He added that of the remaining nine cases in the county two are still hospitalized and seven remain self-quarantined at home.

Judge Curling expressed that he, and other county and city officials, are continuing to offer their thoughts and prayers for those fighting the virus and their families and are hoping for a quick recovery.

Judge Curling is also urging community members to continue to adhere to social distancing guidelines by staying healthy at home and maintaining a six-foot or more distance between themselves and others when they must venture out in public.
