Motorists traveling in Oak Grove need to be aware one lane of U.S. 41-A/Fort Campbell Boulevard will be closed beginning Monday and will remain closed for at least a couple of months.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 spokeswoman Kiersten Jaggers says the outside northbound lane of Fort Campbell Boulevard will be closed beginning Monday between Gate 5 (Forrest Road) and Gate 6 (Morgan Road). She says the closure is to allow contractors for the Oak Grove Gaming and Racing Development to construct the main entrance into the site and prepare the new signal at the intersection.
According to Jaggers, the lane closure is expected to continue for two to three months, depending on the weather.
Motorists should slow down and observe traffic control while driving through this section of Fort Campbell Boulevard.
