A Dawson Springs woman and a Madisonville woman were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Hopkins County Monday afternoon. The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to the wreck just before 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of KY 109 and KY 70 in Beulah.
Deputies say 39-year old Brooke McCord of Dawson Springs was driving an SUV south on KY 109 when she attempted to turn onto KY 70 and collided into a car driven by 35-year old Melissa Hibbs of Madisonville who was traveling northbound on KY 109.
According to the report, both drivers were injured and deputies were assisted at the scene by Medical Center Ambulance Service and Richland Fire Department. However, the report does not say if the two women were transported to a hospital for treatment.
