Drive-up testing for the coronavirus has started in Princeton and officials with the Caldwell Medical Center state the response has been tremendous.

Smiley states that testing will be done on Monday and Wednesday from 7 until 9AM and on Tuesday and Thursday from 5 until 7PM at Caldwell Medical Center’s downtown office at 110 South Cave Street and appointments are required.

She notes that community members do not have to be experiencing symptoms in order to be tested but they are being asked to self-quarantine following the test as they await results, which Smiley states could take up to 72 hours.

Smiley also extends her gratitude to local elected officials and everyone else who have helped make the drive-in testing both available and successful.

Testing is available for anyone who lives in Caldwell, Lyon, or Crittenden counties and appointments can be made by calling the Caldwell Medical Center at 270-365-0332.
