A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after breaking into a business on South Main Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 24-year-old Giovanni Haskins entered Amanda’s Cupcakes on South Main Street through a locked door while the owner was inside.
The owner was reportedly able to provide surveillance footage showing Haskins attempting to get into the business a month ago.
Haskins allegedly told police he had not been inside the business but later admitted to going inside to rest his feet.
Haskins was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
