U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced more CARES Act money is coming to the Commonwealth to assist in Community and Economic Development.
McConnell’s office reports nearly $16.9 million will be used to support a wide range of social services and emergency assistance for those who are struggling to make ends meet because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The funds will be distributed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – Community Services Block Grant Program.
