Lake Barkley Partnership Available to Help Businesses as Economy Reopen

The Lake Barkley Partnership for Economic Development is excited that businesses are beginning to reopen after almost two months of closures but says there’s still a long way to go as the community finds its “new normal” amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Executive Director Amanda Davenport states that with retail, restaurants, and others in the service industry beginning to reopen, now is the perfect time to shop local.

She adds the Partnership is working daily to help small businesses with questions and concerns they may have about reopening or receiving financial assistance.

Davenport does note there are several local options available for small businesses to receive financial assistance.

She states the Partnership is looking toward the future in order to help businesses adjust as the full impact of the pandemic rolls through the country.

For more information, or if you own a business and need help securing personal protection equipment (PPE) or financial assistance, you can contact Amanda Davenport at the Lake Barkley Partnership for Economic Development at 270-385-0070 or click here. The Partnership serves Caldwell, Lyon, and Crittenden counties.
