A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly used a gun to assault a woman on Hunters Ridge Drive Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 35-year-old Scott Wendell used a handgun to hit a woman then pushed her into a table while he was striking her with his fist.
A second woman reportedly attempted to intervene in the fight and Wendell punched her in the chest.
