Two Hopkinsville men were charged with possession of cocaine after a traffic stop on Howell Street Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 26-year-old Martiwan Smith for not wearing a seatbelt.
During the stop police could reportedly smell marijuana and found a bag containing marijuana along with a powder substance that tested positive for cocaine.
Smith and his passenger 26-year-old Abreon McKissick were charged with possession of cocaine. McKissick was also charged with possession of marijuana and arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.
