The Trigg County Senior Citizens Center is continuing to provide as many services as allowed at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and mandates. While Governor Andy Beshear has announced reopening dates for various businesses, industries, venues, and youth sports across the state, he has not yet set a date for the reopening of senior citizen centers or long-term health care facilities.
Director Cissy Lawrence said they have no idea when the seniors will be allowed back at the center. She adds they have restarted one of the services they provide to seniors and they are continuing to provide meals curb-side or by delivery.
