Seniors From Christian County High School Graduate

The 2020 class at Christian County High School, one that has faced many challenges over the last few months, officially graduated via a virtual ceremony Friday night.

The class was comprised of 304 members and boasted 88 honor graduates, 60 Western Kentucky Work Ethic Seal recipients, and many other accomplishments.

Hannah Sumner was named Valedictorian and Hutchison Williams was named Salutatorian.

Lynn Elkins

Class President Lynn Elkins spoke to the class and thanked God, teachers, and the administrators for helping them along the way and adds their senior year may not have turned out as they planned.

 

Elkins told her classmates they should look on the bright side and still have time to shine.

Darell Keith

Former Christian County Middle and High school teacher Darell Keith was the commencement speaker. Keith taught the class in either 7th or 8th grade or during their freshman year and says they are awesome, awesome, awesome.

 

Keith also shared with the class you get what you give on this planet and shared his rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “This Life”.

Chris Bentzel

During the ceremony broadcast on YouTube Friday night, outgoing Principal Chris Bentzel wished the class well on their future endeavors.
