Deputies have released the name of a man that was severely injured in a wreck on Interstate 24 one mile west of exit 86 Friday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a commercial van driven by 65-year-old Robin Brown, of Illinois, was westbound stopped in traffic due to a fire on the side of the road.
Brown’s van was reportedly hit by a truck from behind driven by 31-year-old Mathew Dupuis, of Georgia.
Dupuis was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter that transported him to a Nashville hospital for severe injuries. Brown was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what were termed non-life-threatening injuries.
