The Pennyrile District Health Department is reporting two new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Trigg County Thursday. That’s a total of five new cases confirmed in the last four days in the county.
Spokesman Josh Ramage says the two new cases include a 62-year old female and a 66-year old male and both are isolated at home.
The new cases raise the total number of coronavirus cases in Trigg County to 16 since the outbreak began in mid-March.
This week, Ramage reported Monday a 66-year old female who was hospitalized was the county’s 12th case, with two more cases confirmed Tuesday — a 38-year old male and a 42-year old female, neither of which were hospitalized.
