The Pennyrile District Health Department is reporting another new positive COVID-19 case was confirmed in Trigg County Friday. That’s a total of six new cases confirmed this week in the county.
Spokesman Josh Ramage says the new case is a 37-year old male who is isolated at home.
Ramage reported two new cases Thursday included a 62-year old female and a 66-year old male who are isolated at home. The other cases confirmed this week included a 66-year old female who was hospitalized, and a 38-year old male and a 42-year old female, who are not hospitalized.
The new case raises the total number of coronavirus cases in Trigg County to 17 since the outbreak began in mid-March.
