A Lyon County native has been named full-time director of Pennyrile District Health Department.
The Lyon County Herald Ledger reports Elisha Kite was selected by the Kentucky Department of Public Health to succeed interim director Jim Tolley. She began her new role on June 1.
The Pennyrile District Health Department serves Trigg, Caldwell, Lyon, Crittenden, and Livingston counties.
